OLD TEST DATA

Date: Monday, 4 November 2002
Time: 7.25pm

Location: Scarborough

Distance: 5.4km
Angle: 30º (From AP)
Signal: 30%

Trigg Beach Sand Dune and Karrinyup Sand Dune would have helped block the signal a little.

Hardware Used: iBook G3 Laptop, Airport Card 32mW, 18dBi Galaxy Mod Dish.
Software Used: OSX 10.2, MacStumbler, TCP/IP Programs.

Notes: From this location I would have been around 30º degrees off from the AP.
Trigg beach sand dune and  Karrinyup sand dune would have made it hard to get a signal back to Duncraig.NET
The signal was aound 30%. Still had a good enough link.

Test Point 4 was from the 'Testing From Here' location, so is all the images from here are below.
First test point in Scarborough was on the top of the car park but Observation Rise was blocking the view.

So the other test point was hunted down for testing between Duncraig and Scarborough area.

Looking down to City Beach: Hoping to get my signal more down this way.

Looking back a Duncraig.NET from Scarborough's Street where this test point was taken.
